Drolshagen A4 Varied and relaxing
A tour through the varied cultural landscape of the Dräulzer Land: The hiker wanders through all facets of the Sauerland forest: spruce cultures (the bread and butter tree of the local forest farmers, due to storms and above all due to the summer drought and the resulting infestation by the bark beetle, the population is greatly reduced), Hauberg, beech stands and mixed forest. In between you can see herds of cattle on lush pastureland. Fahrenschotten, a former farm of the Cistercian monastery of Drolshagen, lies on the edge of the path, surrounded by imposing oak trees.
