DTV classification - stars for vacation accommodation

The German Tourism Association (DTV) stars are not just symbols, but a promise of quality and reliability for vacation guests in Germany. Over 30,000 vacation accommodations throughout the country proudly bear the yellow, eight-pointed stars that signalize: This accommodation has been assessed and classified according to strict, nationwide standardized criteria. The DTV classification covers various types of vacation accommodation, including vacation homes, vacation apartments, vacation rooms (with a maximum of nine beds) and unusual accommodation such as tiny houses, tree houses or houseboats. But before an accommodation is awarded stars, the minimum criteria must be met.

Paws classification - dog-friendly vacation accommodation

The Pfoten-Klassifizierung quality seal, initiated by the DTV, GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG and DeineTierwelt, is the first nationwide classification of dog-friendly vacation accommodation. In order to be awarded the Paws, the accommodation must first be classified with the DTV stars. This link guarantees tested quality standards that guests and their four-legged companions can rely on. All awarded vacation accommodations are presented on www.pfoten-klassifizierung.de and are valid for up to three years.

Bett+Bike: The quality brand for cycle tourism

Bett+Bike has been setting the quality standard in the field of cycle tourism for several years. As a reliable partner in cycle tourism, the seal offers cycle-friendly accommodation a certificate of quality and at the same time promotes sustainable tourism. The aim is to build a bridge between traveling cyclists and hospitable accommodations in the field of cycle tourism by certifying accommodations according to the quality criteria of the ADFC. The seal is valid for three years.

Quality host Wanderbares Deutschland

A growing number of people are choosing hiking as an activity to explore nature on foot in their free time or on vacation. It turns out that hiking is not limited to the period from April to October. In fact, around a fifth of hikers are also active during the winter months. The "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland" certificate is awarded to various types of accommodation establishments, including hotels, guesthouses, inns, guesthouses, apartments, vacation apartments and houses, private landlords, campsites, youth hostels, hiking homes and huts. All interested businesses can participate, provided they meet the criteria in the areas of facilities, service and catering. The "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland" certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed at the end of this period by reassessing the quality criteria.
