Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association

The vacation region of the Biggesee-Listersee nature adventure area stretches along the picturesque shores of the Biggesee and Listersee lakes and now includes the charming towns of Attendorn, Drolshagen, Meinerzhagen, Olpe and the municipality of Wenden. This idyllic region in the heart of South Sauerland offers the perfect ambience for nature lovers, adventure seekers and those looking for relaxation in equal measure. The leisure opportunities in the Biggesee-Listersee nature adventure area are extremely diverse and invite visitors to discover the beauty of nature and relax all year round.

A REGIONALE 2013 project gave rise to the Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association in 2012 - initially with the member municipalities of Attendorn, Drolshagen, Meinerzhagen and Olpe. The municipality of Wenden joined in 2017.
As part of the REGIONALE 2013, the Sauerland-Seen project was able to implement many valuable tourism elements in the Biggesee-Listersee nature experience area, as well as at the other Sauerland-Seen. The REGIONALE 2025 is currently underway, in which the Sauerland-Seen are once again participating with projects.

The aims of the special-purpose association include promoting the development of tourism in the region, networking tourism partners and service providers and marketing the destination as a whole. Our member municipalities introduce themselves below.
