The little sister of the Bigge dam, which was built in 1912 and holds 22 million m³ of water, offers attractive hiking experiences at any time of year, both along its banks and in the surrounding forest areas. Find out more about Biggesee and Listersee here.
Hiking tip: The KuLTour is an approx. 7 km long circular trail, which you can join right here at the "Kalbernschnacke" hiking parking lot. The combination of art and landscape makes this "KuLTour" an exciting and stimulating hiking trail, where you can discover over 25 objects made almost exclusively from natural materials. The KuLTour was the only trail in NRW to be nominated in the "Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2018" competition and came fourth in the public vote.
