The church in Meinerzhagen Valbert, which was consecrated in 1958, is a simple church building from the 1950s. However, there are some interesting objects in the building that were designed by the Bielefeld sculptor Arnold Rickert. These include the altar, the altar chandelier and the altar cross.

According to evidence, the building of this church was preceded by a stone church, which stood on the same site around 1200.
