Valbert-Wilde Wiese-Spinne-Mittelhagen-Valbert

A circular walk starting in the center of the village at the fountain on Potsdamer Platz. We walk up Schulstraße and turn right before the school. We follow the "triangle" hiking sign with the point facing upwards. The path leads uphill, we cross Ebbestraße and walk past the country school and Haus Nordhelle. After crossing Ebbestraße for the second time, we turn onto a beautiful forest path that leads uphill. At the next crossroads, we come to the Auerhahnbergweg. Continue right onto the A2 hiking trail. After approx. 1 km at the fork in the path, we keep right and follow hiking trail A2 along a wooden path through the Wilde Wiese nature reserve. We follow the path up to the high point, also known as Spinne, where we can take a break and enjoy the views. There is a shelter and plenty of benches. The hiking route now continues to the right along a forest path with the "Dreieck" sign for approx. 2 km down into the valley. We cross the Königsfarnweg and Silberkuhlenweg paths and leave the forest above Mittelhagen. In the village, we come to a road which we follow, turning right. After approx. 2 km we are back at Potsdamer Platz.
