Meinerzhagen Nature Park Information Center

The Nature Park Information Center of the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park was opened in December 2018. On around 70 square meters, you will receive comprehensive information about all the important natural and cultural experiences within the nature park. A multimedia media table presents all the information using state-of-the-art communication tools, giving you a comprehensive overview of the jewels within the nature park. Maps and information brochures round off the offer.

As the tourist information office of the town of Meinerzhagen is also represented within the premises, you will also receive extensive information on the leisure and cultural offers of the town.

The town of Meinerzhagen has an extensive network of hiking trails. Start here and access the Sauerland-Höhenflug trail via the "Schallershaus" hiking parking lot or the "Vom Wasser haben wir es gelernt!" circular trail in the direction of the Genkeltalsperre dam. Via the "Stoltenberg" hiking parking lot, you can reach the Ebbemoore, slope and spring moors of European importance.
