The operator of the Listertalsperre is the public water management company Ruhrverband. You can purchase fishing licenses for the Listertalsperre from the Ruhrverband at www.ruhrverband.de/sport-freizeit/angeln/ or from the Biggesee-Listersee Tourist Association, tel. 02722-6579240.

Please note that swimming is only permitted at the designated bathing areas and that barbecues and campfires are prohibited in the forests around the Listertalsperre, especially in the summer months, due to the high risk of forest fires.
