Our part-time farm is located in the middle of the idyllic village of Milstenau, which is easy to reach from Olpe, Attendorn, Finnentrop or Plettenberg.

In addition to the many different animal species such as pigs, chickens, geese, sheep, horses, Max the donkey and the farm dogs, the farm also includes arable land for growing cereals, meadows, woodland and a vegetable and potato field.

This gives rise to many exciting projects and themes as the seasons change. Experiencing and helping out in wind, weather and sunshine is part of everyday life. Every year is different and has its very own charm, special features and also worries. Living with the seasons is a focal point of our work and also means that, for example, no two annual courses are the same.

There is always something going on here - in addition to our own five children, we are also home to an external residential group with nine children from Olpe Josefshaus.

Since 2018, we have been marketing our pigs together with the Kost butcher's shop from Attendorn. There you can buy home-made specialties such as blood and liver sausage, Mettendchen and Dauerwurst, ham on the bone, tasty barbecue treats and much more. These products are also suitable for allergy sufferers as they are free from additives and preservatives. As our pigs are older than in conventional marketing, the meat is more mature and tastier. Thanks to the special mixture of breeds with Duroc pigs, we achieve the highest meat quality. The pigs are kept in small groups with plenty of space and are given fresh straw every day. The short walk from the barn to the farm's abattoir offers the curious animals a special discovery tour, so that they arrive without fear or stress. Daily contact with visitors to the barn, both young and old, ensures that the pigs never get bored and promotes a good relationship with humans. The feed for the pigs is mixed in-house, consists largely of the farm's own grain and is guaranteed GMO-free.
The central location of the butcher's shop in the center of Attendorn is ideal for shopping during a stroll through the city or at the weekly market.
